‥ Mozumdar moved to California in 1920 and founded a church in the San Bernardino Mountains. He traveled extensively throughout the United States to give his lectures and sermons. He even produced a film “Beyond the Veil” in Hollywood in 1924. He built a The Temple of Christ in the San Bernardino Mountains at a site known as Camp Mozumdar. The temple was designed by a San Diego architect William P. Lodge. He died in 1953 in San Diego, his ashes were laid to rest in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California.

‥ One legacy of his work was Camp Mozumdar in the San Bernardino Mountains near Lake Arrowhead in the state of California. After Mozumdar's death in 1953, the camp was transferred to the YMCA and in the 1970s that organization sold it to the Unification Church (the followers of the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, sometimes referred to as "Moonies"). The Universal Message has absolutely no connection, organizationally or philosophically, with the current owners of the camp that still carries Mozumdar's name.
Mozumdar Temple (Temple of Christ)
The Temple of Christ is set on a mountaintop in the San Bernardino Mountains, overlooking Lake Silverwood and the Mojave Desert. This temple was built by A.K. Mozumdar (b. 1864 - d. 1953), a writer and philosopher. After his death, it was owned by the YMCA, and then by the Moonies. Last year it was listed for sale, but has since been purchased and is currently undergoing renovations.
One of his favorite quotes was, "Your power to conceive God is God."
