Apprehended means to take into custody. Here it would mean.... into the custody of Capcom.
1 Niitsuma said he wanted to add 8 more characters.
2 7 Apprehended + Mega Man = 8 characters.
3 Gambit is among apprehended and Lupinko hardly hinted him with his datmvc3 tag recently.
4 Slain are rejected characters.
5 Mega Man isn't slain cuz there will be some Mega Man in the game's DLC other version.
And Mega Man isn't apprehended cuz the one in the next version will not be Classic Mega Man.....
they put the the pic of old MVC2 characters there. Putting a pic of X or EXE there would've made things to obvious.... they had to give the Mega Man notion.
They couldn't just put a pic of X or EXE there with apprehended written over them.
6 Call me grasping at straws. But this Official screenshot is odd. Wright is exxamining the Mega Man pic while Nova makes an "X" with his hands.
