Kaihori - 7.5 Focused, firm and solid, improved goal kicks. Clean sheet for Birthday gift.
Kinga - 8.0 Solid in defence, dangerous up in front, did good supporting tired Ohno in 2nd half.
Iwashimizu - 7.5 Cool composure, was holding "the line" well.
Kumagai - 7.5 Very solid, more focused today than against S.Korea game
Sameshima - 8.0 Good in defence.Some very nice movement and support up front in 1st half. Exceptional pass to Nagasato leading to goal. Stayed mostly in defence 2nd.
Sakaguchi - 7.0 Did good. Still have to work on long range shots though.
Sawa - 9.0 Worked really, really hard in midfield imposing on the tempo of the game. Her quick transitions between defence and attack were superb. Yellow card as a price tag.
Miyama - 9.5 Excellent awerness, skills and distribution of the ball. MVP.
Kawasumi - 8.5 Very, very lively. Involved in most actions up in front Aussies goal. Bit unlucky 1st half, goalscorer in 2nd.
Ohno - 7.0 Good ball distribution during 1st half, faded badly in 2nd.,
Nagasato - 8.0 Best game by her thus far. Get rid of heavy touch, more precise with crosses (especially one to Ohno about 15min of 2nd half - world class),
good with shielding the ball, nice link up play with Kawasumi. Bit unlucky with the post in 1st half, worked a goal for Kawasumi in 2nd.
Ando - Tactical change. Agressive. Done well absorbing opponent defence.
Maruyama - Tactical change. Destructive. Done well holding the ball.
