高橋選手が中国杯欠場ということで、気になって調べてみました。
GPSのアナウンスをみると
・シード選手について（世選1-6位）
If a seeded skater/couple withdraws from an assigned event, even for medical reasons, that
skater/couple will not be assigned to another event.
・その他の選手
Non-seeded skaters/couples will not be assigned to another event if they choose not to skate in an assigned event.
とあるので、シード・ノーシードに関わらず、1試合目を棄権したら2試合目には出れません。
