チャールズ・バカンティはペンタゴンから研究資金獲得、
兄のジョセフは、超大物ばかりの集まる投資家の会合にメンバーとして出席、
バカンティ兄弟の共同研究者、ロバート・ランガーは相次いで賞を
授与され、「ビル・ゲイツ財団出資で遠隔操作で16年使用可能な
避妊チップを開発」したことも大きくニュースで取り上げられている。
要するに俗に言う「空気を読め」ということだ。
