Northern NY nuclear plant shuts down after failure

The owner of a nuclear plant in northern New York says it shut down automatically
when a device failed that controls the water level in the vessel that holds the plant's nuclear fuel.
Jill Lyon, a spokeswoman for Constellation Energy Nuclear Group, says
there was no risk to public safety and no release of radiation into the air or water.
