I'm an enduser of Java 8 JDK and JRE, using them
in Windows7 Japanese edition. According to the
instruction on the site, I tried to update them from
u51 to u60, but I were not able to do that though
u51 can be uninstalled and installed in the same condition
correctly.
The new installer could not be work rightly, I guess.
