そして実際にIHIとRRがGCAP戦闘機のエンジン開発を開始「した」(have initiated)と伝えるのが
3月15日のJanes記事。そこでIHIの佐藤篤副事業部長が実際に両社は人員と技術の交換を始めて
いてプロトタイプエンジンを20年代後半までに完成させるつもりだと語っている。
