The reason why Japanese mass media cannot take up the online criticism over Fuji TV

What’s bad about Japanese media is that, because of the bad habit of “cross-ownership”,
Japanese TV and radio stations and newspaper companies are grouped together
as a bunch of sissies which zip their lips about certain topic taboos.
In many of the industrialized countries of the West, cross-ownership,
which puts newspaper companies and broadcasting stations into one business grouping,
is restriced or prohibited under the law in order to ensure the diverseness of speech and media’s mutual supervision.
It is not only the parties concerned, Fujisankei Communications Group,
that are keeping silence on today’s anti-Fuji movement.
All Japanese mass media groups such as TV Asahi Corporation/ Asahi Shimbun group
and Nippon Television Netwerk Corporation/ Yomiuri Shimbun group are ignoring this online riot
which is an eventful social phenomenon and should be reported as a social problem. This is just weird.
Those who have only established media like TV and newspapers
have not been informed of this anti-Fuji TV riot on the Internet.
We might say that it is one sort of biased media account. Chicken media never report it
albeit even Fuji TV’s sponsor companies are beginning to be criticized.
Not only Fujisankei but also all other mass media group are keeping silence.
They have survived until now by keeping their lip tight for some while.
