Crown prince, princess consider attending Prince William''s

Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako are considering
attending the wedding of Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton in April in London,
the Imperial Household Agency said.
Britain's Royal Household asked the Japanese Imperial Household Agency last week,
at Queen Elizabeth's request, if Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko would be able to
attend the wedding on April 29 at Westminster Abbey.
The Japanese side replied that as the emperor and empress have busy domestic schedules
around the date of the wedding, other members of the royal family may be able to attend.
The Royal Household welcomed the reply, the agency said yesterday.
After consulting the emperor and the empress, the Imperial Household Agency has decided to
consider sending Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako to the wedding, the agency said.
Crown Princess Masako continues to receive treatment for a stress-induced illness,
and has sometimes skipped her official duties. (Kyodo)
