The U.S. official speaking anonymously said U.S. intelligence thinks that several Chinese companies have also been
involved in providing restricted technology and materials to Iran's military programs. He said that Chinese banks were
found to be involved in these and other deals with Iran, and that these deals occurred both before and after the
enhanced U.N. sanctions were approved in June.

is unclear how much they have spent there.
