He said factors including the global credit crunch and competition from other
destinations had led to an 11 per cent drop in the number of tourists visiting
New Zealand from Japan, a 20 per cent drop from South Korea, a three per
cent reduction from the United Kingdom and a two per cent decrease from the United States.
