パキスタンの内政というのは外から見て理解可能なレべルを超えているようなところ
があってFTの評論でGideon Rachmanが、PPPであれPMLNであれ野党主導になっても落
ち着くわけでもない、というようなことを書いていて短期的には政治的混乱が持続す

Instead, Pakistan is probably in for a period of short-term political turmoil. If
the president’s party does well in the elections, many Pakistanis will assume the
vote has been fixed and there could be confrontation in the streets. Even if
Pakistan’s leading opposition parties do take power, they do not inspire much
confidence. The People’s party is still essentially leaderless after the
assassination of Benazir Bhutto. Her husband, Asif Zardari, is manoeuvring to
take control, but is widely mistrusted. Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the other main
opposition party, is too close to the Saudis for comfort.
