While the six-party talks are going on, an incident was uncovered in which Koreans are conspiring an act of terrorism.
A shrine near the Maizuru Japan Self Defence Forces Base in Kyote Prefecture was taken over by Koreans.
One kilometer to the east from the shrine is a ammunitions storage facility, and there is the Takahama nuclear power plant
in Takahamacho close by.
Though the shrine is planning to charge the Koreans with tax evation, I believe the Koreans are planning to attack nearby facilities.
The Maizuru base stores oil and supplies to the JSDF, and an attack will cause casualties and confusion not only to JSDF but
also US troops in Sasebo and in the Sea of Japan.
I strongly wish that the US troops take this incident seriously, and act appropriately to prevent possible terrorism.
