In the above paper, there is a serious error in Figure 2A.
The Vav bands in lanes 2, 3 and 4 were enhanced by
one of the authors (Tetsuya Matsuguchi) without the
knowledge of the other authors. While the basic observation
is correct, this makes the increase in phosphorylation
of Vav by GM-CSF, IL-3 and Steel factor appear larger
than it actually is. Figure 2A is retracted and a substitute
Figure 2A, which accurately documents the research
results, is printed here. All authors regret any confusion
resulting from this event.
