Miyazato, who turned 25 on Saturday, is guaranteed to take over the No. 1 spot in Monday's rankings after her fourth victory of the season.
The win was Miyazato's fifth on the LPGA Tour, but her first in the United States.
She will replace Jiyai Shin of South Korea atop the rankings. Shin has missed the last two tournaments after undergoing an appendectomy.
She hopes to return to the tour in next week's LPGA Championship in Rochester, New York.
