Technically, Mochizuki does not choose any such isomorphism,
but works with what he calls the full poly-isomorphism, i.e. the set of all such isomorphisms. Although we spent a lot of time discussing the necessity of introducing full poly-isomorphisms over choosing one such isomorphism,
Mochizuki was not able to explain this.
On a related note, if one remembers that all Hodge theaters really come from our fixed curve X,
there is a completely natural isomorphism Π1 ～= Π2 given by Π1 = π1(X) = Π2 and K1 ～= K2 as K1 = k￣ = K2,
and thus a natural Π1 ～= Π2-equivariant isomorphism log(K1) ～= K1 ～= K2 (and thus the same on o ). Choosing
these “obvious” isomorphisms did not result in any problem that would be solved by allowing some other (possibly indeterminate)
