ヘルプファイルのVerifyの説明
Verify file integrity by running a hash algorythem over the compressed file and see
if the result matches the CRC checksum stored in the compressed file at compression time.
というわけで後から編集できるタグデータ以外の
音データ部分+α(圧縮とかチャンネルとか)のチェックサムと思う
あくまで予想だけど
URLﾘﾝｸ(www.monkeysaudio.com)
だと圧縮時に生成したチェックサムでありWAVEファイルとは関係ない
ようするに作ったときから音データに改変がないことを検証するものみたい
