この資料の６ページ目に、誤検出数の具体的な個数が書いていましたが、
Fortinetという製品（1000以上の誤検出）以外は、
全サンプル中で、たった０個から３６個の誤検出に過ぎませんでした。
実際のユーザー環境では、誤検出してもベンダーに真偽を確認すれば済むが、
本物のウイルスを検出できないのは致命的です。
今回からのプロアクティブ性能のランク付けでは、
誤検出が18個で、本物のウイルスを14628個できている製品よりも、
誤検出は8個でも、本物のウイルスは5659個しか検出できていない製品の方がランクが上となっています。

1000000個の検体で1%の未検出があれば10000個検出できないということ。
500000個の検体で1%なら5000個。サンプル数1000000といえども全体の極一部。
AntiVirもAVGもavastも無料版といえどもそれなりの検出力がある。
どれが「最強」かというのは対策ソフトの側の問題ではなく、
対策ソフトで検出できないマルウェアを、
マルウェア対策ソフトに頼らなくてもインストールされるリスクが少ない
製品構成や製品設定で利用する利用者自身の側の問題だと言える。
安全な利用者ならそこそこの検出力があれば
軽くて不具合のない製品、扱いやすい製品がいいに決まってる。
テストでの検出率が他製品に比べて極端に低い製品でも
パソコンがマルウェアに“感染”することがないユーザがいるとしたら、
主にそれは対策ソフトが防いだからではなく、
ネットやパソコンを使うユーザ自身の態度が防いだのである。
上に有料版のKasperskyやAntiVirが入っても結論は同じ。

とりあえずセキュリティソフト入れておけば、あとは大丈夫だと検出力など気にしないでソフトまかせ

たとえばソースの出している何とかソフトとか。

AVGはAntiVirusだけ使ってるなら軽いしいい仕事してるな。
InternetSecurityだっけか、統合ソフトの方は実際酷い。
ファイアウォールの動作がとんでもなく重くて、マシンスペックが体感５割は下がる。
ただし、まともに接続できなくなる原因が「重い」以外だとすると単に設定ができてないだけ。

確かに、周りのパソコン詳しい人はAntiVir使っている人多い。
でも、あの設定のややこしさに英語とくれば一般人には近寄りがたい。

私の場合は、メールとインターネット閲覧がメイン。

私の場合は、いろいろなところの市販品を使ってきた後、今はAntiVirのフリー版に落ち着いています。
検知率はもとより、スキャンスピード、対ウイルス反応、軽さ、誤検知率の低さ、など勘案するとアンチウイルスソフトではAntiVirが最も優秀だと思います。
しかし、このソフトは日本語表示がない上、いろいろ設定が細かいということもあり、どうも一般の人たちには敷居が高いみたいです（事実avast!やAVG、キングソフトなど、他のフリーソフトに比べると使用率は低いと思います）。
他の某専門サイトなどでも、「このソフトはある程度スキルのある人しか使わない」などとコメントされていたりします。
もし、これが日本語対応になれば、その性能の良さと相まって利用者数は相当増加すると思うのですが・・・（確かに、周りでこのソフトを使っている人をみると、パソコン上級者といわれるような人たちの利用率が高いように思います）。
Aviraのフリー版についてですが、個人的にはデフォルトよりも自分で設定したほうが良いと思います。
何といっても、ウイルス発見時のあの音（？）はびっくりするので個人的にはこれはオフのほうが良いと思います。
ルートキット検索機能も確かデフォルトではオフなので、設定でオンにしていたほうが良いのではないでしょうか。
あと、ウイルスの処理も、設定であらかじめ指定した手順で処理させることもできるので、スキャンの終了までパソコンの前に居れず、手動で処理できない人はそちらに設定し直しても良いと思います。
フリー版のメールスキャンについては、一応メールを開くときに実行するそうです（ただし、これをメールスキャン機能と呼ぶかどうかは別問題ですが）。
あと、Aviraのヒューリスティック機能は最優秀らしいですが
設定は「中」で必要十分だと思います（デフォルトは「中」なので変える必要はないですが）。

「バカス」
読み方：vakasu or bakasu
略語であって正式な呼び方は、バスター信者（バスター厨）&カスペルスキー信者（カスペ厨）
（Virus Buster(日本国外ではPC-cillin) Believer & Kaspersky Believer）を併せての名称。
考案者は【バカス】一番いいセキュリティソフトはなんだ!!48のスレ立て者か
もしくは以前に誰かが考案したものと思われる。
これには「NOD32アンチウィルス Part54」のレス44氏が考案者という説も出ているがレス44氏は「2008/03/27(木) 00:44:26」
これに対し本スレを立てた1氏は「2008/03/26(水) 01:45:08」となっており、本スレが立った方が早い為
この説は、完全にデマである。なお「バ」か「カス」のどちらかが、「NOD32アンチウィルス Part2」の頃から
NOD叩きをしてきた基地外だと言われている。
数スレ（受賞を受けた本スレに該当）前からスレ内で暴れていた為に名誉ある命名を受けた。
この本スレ内では「バカスって、まるでスがダメみたいじゃないか変更しろ 」
この文章にある様にカスペ厨が「カス」ではなく「ス」にしたがってる模様。（推測だがカスとは略して言いたくないみたいだ）
他のスレ内で「２人あわせてバスペｗ」の発言
上にて推測していた通り、カスペ厨は「カス」の略し方に不服のようだが、広まってしまった後なので潔く諦めるべき。
本スレ内で歌も作られた。

最近のMalware作者やクラッカーは対策ソフトの導入を予め想定して攻略してきます。
難読化などによってスキャンをすり抜けようとします。
今ではヒューリスティックスキャンも回避できるようになっています。
また、対策ソフト自体への攻撃も行われることもあります。
一方、Personal Firewallにおいてもデフォルトブラウザに成りすますなどしてバイパスを図ったりします。
このような現状を踏まえるならば、今現在最も対抗力を持っているKaspersky Internet Security 2009がお薦めです。

質問なんだけど日本語版のないウイルスソフトって日本で作られたウイルスへの
対応ってどうなの？
日本で作られたウイルスに対応してないならshareとかnyでは全然だめな気がするんだけど？

私の場合は、いろいろなところの市販品を使ってきた後、今はAntiVirのフリー版に落ち着いています。
検知率はもとより、スキャンスピード、対ウイルス反応、軽さ、誤検知率の低さ、など勘案するとアンチウイルスソフトではAntiVirが最も優秀だと思います。
しかし、このソフトは日本語表示がない上、いろいろ設定が細かいということもあり、どうも一般の人たちには敷居が高いみたいです（事実avast!やAVG、キングソフトなど、他のフリーソフトに比べると使用率は低いと思います）。
他の某専門サイトなどでも、「このソフトはある程度スキルのある人しか使わない」などとコメントされていたりします。
もし、これが日本語対応になれば、その性能の良さと相まって利用者数は相当増加すると思うのですが・・・（確かに、周りでこのソフトを使っている人をみると、パソコン上級者といわれるような人たちの利用率が高いように思います）。
Aviraのフリー版についてですが、個人的にはデフォルトよりも自分で設定したほうが良いと思います。
何といっても、ウイルス発見時のあの音（？）はびっくりするので個人的にはこれはオフのほうが良いと思います。
ルートキット検索機能も確かデフォルトではオフなので、設定でオンにしていたほうが良いのではないでしょうか。
あと、ウイルスの処理も、設定であらかじめ指定した手順で処理させることもできるので、スキャンの終了までパソコンの前に居れず、手動で処理できない人はそちらに設定し直しても良いと思います。
フリー版のメールスキャンについては、一応メールを開くときに実行するそうです（ただし、これをメールスキャン機能と呼ぶかどうかは別問題ですが）。
あと、Aviraのヒューリスティック機能は最優秀らしいですが
設定は「中」で必要十分だと思います（デフォルトは「中」なので変える必要はないですが）。

こんにちは。
ボクは黒いサイトの潜入調査や仮想マシン上でいろいろなテストをしています。
対策ソフトの評価、とりわけ性能評価となると相応のスキルと経験が必要になります。それとめちゃくちゃ労力がかかります。
テストするにあたっては、単に検体をスキャンするだけではなく、実行時の検出、改変を加えてのすり抜けテスト、
PFWのAnti-leakテスト、対策ソフト自体への無効化攻撃に対する強度など多面的にテストします。
フリーにこだわるならAvira Antivir PE Classicをお薦めしますけど。
ただ、ご承知のようにAV機能のみです。別途PFWなどを組み合わせないといけません。
キングソフトはぶっちゃけ性能的にショボイので止めたほうが無難です。
有償で構わないならKaspersky Internet Securityをお薦めします。非常に高度なマルチレイヤディフェンスになってますよ。
