セッションファイルを保存したいと思っているディレクトリのパーミッションを変更してみましたが、状況は変わりませんでした。
また、/tmpで試してみたところ、以下の警告が出てしまいました。

「SAFE MODE Restriction in effect.」という一文から読み取る限り、やはりセーフモードの問題でしょうか。
セキュリティについても、色々と調べてみたいと思います。ご助言ありがとうございます。
