Hi

Updated the OCZ Vertex inside my Mac Unibody.
I've described how I did it below but we need to streamline the process
and make it so that everyone can do it

Step 1: get hold of a FreeDOS bootable CD ROM ( pm me if you cannot find any or want links )

Step 2: Inject the firmware update files into the CDROM image.
Usually most CDROM bootables are floppy images and floppy emulation is 1.44MB or 2.88MB.
The firmware update is small and 1.44 MB will suffice

OR

Step 2: Make sure the FreeDOS bootable has USB support
and plug a USB stick containing the files BEFORE you boot from the CDROM

Step 3: Boot into FreeDOS by holding down the 'C' key.
If you injected the fw update files into the image then they are there
and the only thing you need to do is run 'fwupdate' and enjoy the show.
If the files are on the USB stick,
change to where the USB stick is ( it was C: for me ) and run 'fwupdate'

I must say ... easiest fw update ever
