ちなみにやったのは下記のページを参照に
URLﾘﾝｸ(en.opensuse.org)
でCUI(?)のインストーラ立ち上げまでは行けて、
Make sure that CD number 1 is in your drive -> Back
言語・キーボードレイアウト選択後
Start Installation -> Start Installation or Update -> Hard Disk
-> Enter the hard disk partition (e.g., /dev/sda1) で /dev/hda3 を指定
-> Enter the source directory. で /openSUSE-11.1-DVD-i586.iso を指定
その後 Loading Installation System (1/[1-7]) と出て、 No reopsitory found.
1/1後は No new Driver Updates found -> OK
-> An error occurred during the installation. -> OK で、初期画面に戻ります
