openSUSE10.3にてyast2が起動できなくなったので，
端末からyast2と打って起動してみたところ以下のようなメッセージが返ってきました．

The application 'y2controlcenter-gnome' lost its connection to the display :0.0;
most likely the X server was shut down or you killed/destroyed
yast2 --installと打ってみると，セグメンテーション違反だというメッセージが表示され，この場合も起動しません．

ググってみたもののいまいち原因がよくわからず．
どなたか解決策をご教示願えないでしょうか．
（smartは問題なく使えるので今のところこれでしのいでいます）
