なんとなく X の日本語化メモ
/usr/X11R6/lib/fonts/TTF/ に日本語 ttf (TrueType font) を置く
fonts.dir に使うフォントを適当に書く(総行の書き換えも)のを忘れずに
x/x11-6.8.1-i486-1
x/x11-devel-6.8.1-i486-1
x/x11-fonts-misc-6.8.1-noarch-1
x/x11-fonts-scale-6.8.1-noarch-1
# /usr/X11R6/bin/xorgconfig (適当に)
/etc/X11/xorg.conf いぢり
in Section "Module":
#Load "freetype"
Load "xtt"
in Section "Files":
FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF/"
/etc/fonts/fonts.conf チェック
<dir>/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF</dir>
# /usr/X11R6/bin/fc-cache
