RedHat9の起動時に以下のようなエラーが出て起動できません。

ここで、rootのパスワードを入れて、fsck -y / とした後rebootす
ると正常に起動するのですが、再度起動するとまた同じエラーが出
てしまいます。
一度haltしてから起動し直しても、rebootしても同じです。
これを直す方法はないでしょうか？
