“The T-GT’s new high-frequency vibration has promise, but it felt more distracting than immersive.
It engaged too frequently, constantly buzzing the wheel in an unnatural way that did more to remind me that I was playing a video game instead of driving a car.
The pedals felt roughly the same as the T3PA set, only with wider foot plates. It was difficult to tell much about them while wearing shoes.”

iRacing STAFF Analytics T-GT
I have the TS-XW and T-GT sitting in my living room waiting to go back to the head office.
Both bases are nearly identical from a force feedback standpoint and I assume that they are the same as the TS-PC although I have not had a chance to try one yet.
Both come in at around 6 Nm of torque and are very linear if you leave the driver at the default force level.
The T-GT has slightly better pedals than the TS-XW, they look the same but the TS-XW uses plastic pedal arms and they flex a bit under force while the T-GT uses metal pedal arms that feel more soli
On the other hand the TS-XW rim feels great in your hand while the T-GT rim feels cheaper.
I like the button layout on the T-GT better but both are good.
Also on the TS-XW you can swap out the rim easily, it just bolts to the button box with a few screws.
Finally the T-GT has a base shaker set into the end of the wheel base but Thrustmaster is not currently
handing out software to drive it on the PC, it is an exclusive to some console game for now.
I took it apart and looked it over and it appears that there is a stand alone amplifier in the wheel that you could drive with an audio signal,
but I was not willing to destroy my wheel to verify this.
Both wheels feel very much like a Thrustmaster and feel like the logical evolution from a T500.
