Kingdom.Japan joint statement 28/4/2007 Riyadh, April 11, 1428
A joint statement issued today on a state visit, the Prime Minister of Japan
to the Kingdom reads as follows :
1.The two sides expressed their desire to enhance high-level political dialogues
between them including the dialogue between the Foreign Ministers of the two
countries.
2.The two sides agreed to the further development of economic relations is an
impetus for strengthening strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan（ｒｙ
3.The two sides welcomed the ongoing negotiations between the Cooperation Council
for the Arab Gulf States and Japan to conclude a free trade area（ｒｙ

5.Two sides stressed the importance of stability in the oil market to the global
economy and the Japanese side expressed its understanding of and appreciation
for the political balanced oil of Saudi Arabia as a safe and reliable supply of
oil to international markets in general and the Japanese market in particular.
In this regard, the two sides noted the meeting's second round table of
ministers of oil and energy and transport for Asian countries to be held in
Riyadh from 14-April 16, 1428 AH-1 May 3, 2007.（ｒｙ
