GPA of 3.1 or higher for their coursework
in Japanese and/or English, as well as

1. Admissions application / UC admissions form
2. Examination admission card / UC admissions form
3. Personal Information Sheet prepared by the
applicant’s graduating high school (valid only when
sealed), but for those students who have passed the
College Admissions Qualification Examination, a College
Admissions Qualification Examination certificate and/or
a certificate confirming school records should also be
submitted (in a sealed envelope).
4. Letter of Recommendation (only for those seeking
admissions through recommendation)
The appropriate Letter of Recommendation form should be
filled out and submitted by the principal of the
applicant’s graduating high school.

Admissions procedures period
Those accepted for admission to our
university should carry out all of
the prescribed admissions procedures,
including the submission of all
pertinent materials and payment of fees
and expenses required, within the periods
stipulated.
* Those who fail to complete these
procedures will be unable to enter the University.

Forms required for admissions procedures
1. University Pledge (Refer to the
UC Pledge Form)
2. Certificate of Graduation from the
applicant’s high school (to be
submitted prior to the entrance ceremony
for those who will be graduating in March
2004).This is not necessary for those who
have passed the College Admissions
Qualification Examination.
3. One 2.5cm x 2cm frontal, upper-body
photograph. The applicant’s name should be
written on the back of the photo.
4. Payment of student expenses.

Fees
Those students who achieve exceptional
marks on the entrance examination with
regard to practical skills, academic
test results and/or personal evaluations,
may be eligible for reductions in the
entrance fee or tuition through our
scholarship system. Students who have been
nominated and/or received awards in the
High School International Art Competition
may also qualify for reductions in the
entrance fee or tuition through our
