ちょっとマニアックな文だが、下記のような英文どう？？ 休憩時間にお茶でもすすりながら（笑）訳してみて
Sad history, Kamikaze. My teacher in my junior high school was of those Kamikaze pilot candidate
but survived because war ended before his scheduled attack date.
Yet, I strongly feel, as a Japanese national, this act should not be glorified,
this is a tragedy planed and caused by the crazy Army / Navy high officials at the time.
These young pilots were victims of the war. Also we should not forget
about those Americans who had lost their lives by these attacks.
They had families too.
