Japanese surrogate baby taken to temple

It was a day of thanskgiving for 15-day-old Manjhi, the surrogate
Japanese baby who received her birth certificate on Saturday from
the Anand Municipal Corporation.
Baby Manjhi, whose biological Japanese father Dr Yamada has been
fighting a battle to take his daughter back to Japan with him, is now
hoping to move the Japanese embassy for travel documents on Monday.
Manjhi, who was released from a Jaipur hospital on Saturday after she
was treated for sceptecemia, was taken to a Ganesh temple on Sunday
in a mobile incubator.
