“Never forget the spirit of JCI Japan” – President Shin
The annual JCI Japan Kyoto Convention serves as the launching point for JCI Japan's year
of activities, renewing old friendships and forging new ones. On Jan 23, President Shin
headed to Kyoto, Japan to attend the 2009 Kyoto Convention, connect with JCI Japan members
and share his ideas about the bright future of JCI. President Shin had the distinct honor
of meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso, who was 1978 JCI Japan National President.
In addition to meeting with the Asia-Pacific Development Council, President Shin also
attended the Senators Club meeting to offer his gratitude for their continued support of JCI.
"But can you imagine if someone especially from another Area came to see this event?"
President Shin said. "They would be very much amazed by the atmosphere, the huge crowd with
such a mature manner and the incredible dedication of the members of JCI Japan."
