Travel Notice Level 2: novel coronavirus in Japan. There have been cases of
ongoing community spread (not travel-related) of COVID-19 in Japan:
Travelers: Older people and people with chronic medical conditions are
at higher risk and should consider postponing nonessential travel to Japan.
If you are already in Japan you should:
• Avoid contact with sick people
• Try not to touch your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or
use a hand sanitizer with at least 60%-95% alcohol
If you feel ill when you return, seek medical advice.
