A chip registor comprising:
a insulating substrate;
a pair of surface electrodes formed on a surface side of the insulating substrate;
a pair of back surface electrodes formed on a back surface side of the insulating substrate;
a registor body formed on the surface of the insulating substrate and connected to the surface electrodes; and
a protective film for cover and protect the register body,
wherein a helping film is formed on both ends of the protective film.
