My father was born on February 18th, 1801, at Wismar, a seaport of what was then Swedish territory,
and he was consequently born a Swedish subject, as his father and other ancestors were.
その後、一家はリガに移住し、最後に英国に移住する前に住んでいた土地がリガだったというだけ
As I have said above, the whole family migrated to Riga, apparently in 1808 or 1809,
