In society, we often hear people grumble, "You could have said so even in flattery." This is because we see something agreeable in your attitude of speaking and
find your words comfortable to listen to, whether they are true or not.

18点以上22点以下。上述のように、この問題の出題者はかなり意地が悪い。問題文そのものが矛盾を含んでいるのだから、それをどれだけ忠実に文法的に訳しても、英語話者には
理解してもらえない。したがって、敢えて日本語の内容とは異なる英語をここでは書いてみた。この英語を読んでから日本語を読むと、ますます問題文の矛盾が理解しやすくなる
のではないだろうか。後半になると、少し頭でっかちな単語選択が気になってくる。第１文のpositionsも「態度」という意味だとすれば不適当。
