A car for only the one-percenters as the fleaparty - OWS- in the USA refers to the rich. 
Now if only Toyota could have used all the development money in 2009-2010 to install brake override they use now then the rare sudden acceleration deaths including the Saylor family could have been prevented. 
That Lexxus model had a stupid 3-second stop button as well so Saylor likely did not know as it was rented so he probably kept just hitting it. 
I still believe there was (is) a rare combination of two glitches (one perhaps tin whiskers in sensor solder joints). 
It wasn't just the pedals - GM had no issue with people using wrong pedals for sudden acceleration. 
Ford did have cruise control problems corrected. 
The big California trial in 2013 will have 10 computer experts squirred away reviewing Toyota's secret source code. 
Toyoya put in brake override in the computer for free in recalled models ; no doubt I would have insisted on it if I had owned any model after 2002 with EETC.
