Hello, thank you for taking your time to read this email.
In this email I would like to make a strong protest against the offensive
behavior shown at the semi final game Japan vs Korea of Asia Cup 2011
on Jan 25th 2011.
KI SUNG YUENG who is a member of South Korean national team(No.16)
showed the performance of imitating a monkey face in front of the cameras
right after his PK goal.
This behavior is the particular action Korean people like to show when
they want to offense or insult Japanese. I'm very sad to see such a behavior
in a soccer game, by a player moreover.
After his action caused a lot of fuss, the player himself explained in Twitter
that he showed the performance because he saw a old Japanese national flag
in the stadium and got irritated, so it's obviously intentional behavior.
Also his excuse is nonsense because the flag he mentioned is the company flag
of Asahi Shimbun Co. who is a sponsor of AFC.
Anyway I strongly believe that FIFA would never accept this behavior
because this is the one offends the dignity of Japanese, AFC, FIFA.
