I didn't want you to be worried too much, so I didn't tell you much about how my family
is doing. Thank you for your concern. As I told you, my sister died because of the
earthquake. The house collapsed and she fell down from rubble and hit her head hard.
I'm currently living in Tokyo but the rest of my family still lives in Fukushima.
I urged them to evacuate from Fukushima because I'm worried about the radiation issue,
but they don't listen to me. I think they don't want to leave the house at the moment because they
have lot of memories of her in the house. Because of the quake, enough fuel supply was hampered to cremate
dead bodies, so we had hard times. (Traditionary, we cremate a deceased person instead of burying them as they are in Japan
so the shortage of fuel supply is a serious problem.)
We're going to do funeral for her next month so it's going to be busy to prepare for it this month.
