I have to agree with SourLake… Japan is lucky to get away with keeping what they have now.
They got the Ryukyu Island back in the 1970’s… over strong objections from the Ryukyuans
themselves who do claim Japanese ancestry. Let China keep the islands. This area is just like
greater Palestine; no one can claim original title as the land has changed owners so many
times over the centuries.
