Class 385 run full Edinburgh - Glasgow mainline for the very first time

In the early hours of Wednesday 1 November 2017, a Hitachi Class 385 was trialled along the full, newly electrified, Edinburgh to Glasgow via Falkirk High route.
The trial marks significant progress in the electrification process and introduction of the new fleet on Scotland's railway.
