タネ明かしをすれば、セルゲイ・プロクジン＝ゴルスキーというロシアの写真家が撮影した写真で、
下のも1910～1915年とシベリア鉄道開業当初の風景。撮影方法は三枚のカラー乾板を素早く連続して撮影することによりカラー写真を撮るという方法だった。
当時は必要な色に対する適当な感度をもつ乳剤が知られておらずカラーフィルムを製造することができなかった為、この技法が用いられたという。
