Re: Food Safety
Dear Mr. Skinner
I am writing this to express my big concern for the safety of your hamburgers sold here in Japan, where alone McDonald’s sells most of their products out of US.
According to reports by Mainichi Daily News, a prestigious newspaper in Japan, they contend “ Fast food so popular among young people is absorbed unnaturally quickly by the body,
making it easy for bulimia to develop. Bulimia makes it harder to control the central nervous system and a chain reaction
makes it easier to develop other addictions.
Sex addiction is a case in point.”(June 9, 2002).
Furthermore, a shrewd newshound in Mainichi has scooped and published abominable news that four Japanese "film" makers
have used a McDonald's restaurant in Saitama to shoot adult movies (April 28, 2008).
As a parent who has children with big Mac-aficionado, I am very much concerned about the safety of your foods and sanitation of the restaurants under the regulation of McDonald’s company here.
You might have already known that these news are widely
reported in many Internet BBS here and many consumers are infuriated at what have been reported.
I, for the one as a consumer and also as a parent, would cordially appreciate your thorough investigation on aforementioned matters and let Japanese consumers know the results of your investigation.
Regarding,
