it DOES work. Just make sure the phone is powered off completely. So if you're in a Standby of Death take out the battery for a few seconds, put it back in, DON'T power it on and press the key combo as stated in the first post.
つまり、リセットする前に数秒バッテリを抜いて、バッテリを入れなおして
からPower-onする前にリセット手段に入る、ということらしいが・・・
