Reporters Without Borders (RSF) will launch the 2017 World Press Freedom Index on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in partnership with The Washington Post. The report release by RSF’s North America Director Delphine Halgand, a 2017 James W. Foley
American Hostage Freedom Award recipient, will also feature an expert panel of journalists from Turkey, Syria, and Canada, and be moderated by The Washington Post’s Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Dana Priest.
The panel will discuss the report’s findings and the trends in press freedom around the globe.
