I am Canadian myself and I agree with everyone else who says Joannie didn't deserve the medal.
I cheer for Canada when it comes to every sport, regardless. Before the American girl got her scores, t
here was a long wait. Something was definitely up.
Obviously, no news caster will have the balls to tell everyone 'um Joannie Rochette's performance
didn't deserve a bronze' because of her so called moving performance after her mother's death.
This is like the 2002 Scandal all over again. SKATING shouldn't be judged on people's emotions,
they literally handed her a medal after two, amazing performances which would have deserved that bronze.
Joannie should have been in at least fifth because of her stumbles. This was immensely unfair and
hopefully the judges won't make the same mistake. I've given up on skating officially.
