悠久山のクロトキ初の有精卵
長岡市が悠久山公園小動物園で飼育しているクロトキが産んだ卵のうち
１個が有精卵であることが13日、分かった。有精卵の確認は初めて。順調なら月内にふ化する。
トキの分散飼育地に選ばれた同市は、飼育、繁殖の経験を積むため昨年から近似種のクロトキなどを育てている。
４月以降、クロトキは産卵したが、これまで有精卵はなかった。
一方、同市は12日に東京都の多摩動物公園からクロトキの卵６個を譲り受けた。
有精卵が含まれており、今週末ごろから順次ふ化する見通し。
