パリの同時多発テロでは、やはり日本食レストランがメインの標的だったことを
海外の複数メディアが伝えている。
なぜ無関係のカンボジアのレストランが狙われたのかが不明だったが、その隣に
ある日本食レストラン（寿司屋）をISはターゲットにしていたらしい。実際に
この寿司屋は襲撃を受けている（人的被害は未発表）。
ISは以前から日本を標的にすると明言しているため、これを実行しようとし、
間違って隣のカンボジアレストランを襲撃したたものと思われる。だが、日本の
主要メディアはこの事実をまったくといっていいほど報道していない。ただ
「カンボジアレストランの隣にあった寿司店も銃撃された」と11月15日夜のフジテレビ
が報道しており、テレビではこの報道のみ。
11月16日の全てのテレビ報道では、一切触れられていない。安倍政権がこの事実
を公表しないようにメディアに圧力をかけている可能性が高い。

a Japanese restaurant was the main target.

Meanwhile the sidewalk terrace of La Belle Equipe on Rue de Charonne was showered
in gunfire, killing as many as 18 people. There were reports that a Japanese restaurant
on the road was also targeted.
