BABYMETAL cranks out a sweet yet brutal NYC show
The teenage trio delivered saccharine hooks and synchronized dance moves
with their ghastly Kami Band shredding behind them at the PlayStation Theater
in Times Square on Wednesday night.
“METAL RESISTANCE” debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 at the beginning
of April ? the first Japanese album to appear on U.S. Billboard’s Top 40 in
53 years, since Kyu Sakamoto’s “Sukiyaki and Other Japanese Hits” in 1963.
