South Korea May Change Accounting Rules to Help Shipbuilders

Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- South Korea plans to change accounting rules
for shipbuilders to help bolster their balance sheets as a 32 percent
plunge in the local currency this year slashed their capital
by as much as 50 percent.
