Asian currencies mostly down against dollar

Minister of Strategy and Finance Kang Man-Soo said South Korea had
enough foreign exchange reserves -- about 24 billion dollars --
to ride out the current global credit crisis.
He also said the government would implement various plans aimed at
helping the foreign exchange and stock markets.
